Showing how people want to see the guard uniform. And then the council picks the 10 they like the best and everyone else votes from there (usually)!

2007-03-28 [Adaman]: A little late on the topic, but most archers wear bracers or long gloves to keep from the string rubbing their forearm. I can't say for certain if all archers did, but having that snap on the forearm when it has enough force to launch an arrow several yards would be enough to make me wear some forearm protection.

As you can see (picture of me) the bowstring is on the inside of the arm. The artist who made this drawing is very skilled, but also human, and can make a little mistake, so that's why I changed the bowstring..... :-)
